Common Questions

Supplies Needed For Care

Common Questions

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Yes I provide meals and snacks. Please refer to the section above.

How many children to have in your care?

I have up to 6 full time children in care at one time. I am also permitted to have 6 additional school age children. I usually reserve those spaces for siblings of my full timers. I also have my 3 children.

Do you have cameras?

Can parents access cameras?

No and No

Who lives in your home?

Myself and my three children. Alanna is 15, Alora is 14 and Alija is 7. Everyone over the age of 14 has had fingerprints and a background check done. My son Alija counts in my School age ratio.

Do you allow people in your home when you are providing care?

No. I keep a very small circle of friends and they respect my business, plus they work full time. I try to schedule repairs for after hours or on the weekends.

What hours are you open?

Monday - Friday 7 AM to 5:30 PM

Tuition covers 10 hours of care per day.

I also offer 3rd shift and Saturdays

What if my child wont nap? What if my child has outgrown naps?

If your child does not nap, your child is not a good fit for/ has outgrown my program. Everyone, including my own children take a rest between noon to 1:30 PM minimum.

What if my toddler is still on the bottle an uses a pacifier?

At 12 to 13 months your child should have limited access to either of those items. Not only can they cause problems with your child's teeth but also speech development. I will only allow a pacifier to be used a naptime. To ease the transition I will give a toddler a spill proof cup of water.

Can my child bring toys or food into daycare?

No. We have plenty of toys and activities at daycare. If your child has food, please have them finish eating in the car before you come into daycare.

Each child has two bins and a place for their shoes. I do not accept backpacks or diaper bags. I provide cups, wipes and other basic needs.

Top bin is for diapers. It can hold an entire sleeve of diapers. No 360 diapers and No pullups unless we have agreed on potty training.

Bottom bin is for a minimum of 2 complete changes of clothes and swim suit. In the summer an extra pair of sandals would be awesome!

Additionally please bring your child a blanket.. I provide sheets and pillow cases.

I do not usually send anything home. I wash and rotate clothes as necessary. Nap bedding is washed every Friday at closing.

During the "season change" I will send warm clothes home in exchange for cool weather clothing or vise versa. Example: If I send home a pair of pants, please send back a pair of shorts.
